The new web filtering service will change how Library eresources can be accessed on campus.

If you use Google or bookmarks to find ejournal articles, ebooks, databases etc you will no longer automatically be recognised as belonging to Edinburgh Napier University and given access.

Use LibrarySearch

The easiest way to find all the resources that you have access to is to start at LibrarySearch, which is set up to provide seamless on-campus access to the vast majority of our subscribed eresources.

To see everything available in LibrarySearch, you will now need to log into LibrarySearch on campus as well as off.

• Go to LibrarySearch.

• To log in, click Not signed in > Sign in > University member.

If you prefer to use bookmarks or Google

You will need to log into the individual eresources using the UK Federation/Shibboleth/institutional login link.

This is different for each journal or database, but usually means looking for a ‘Sign in/Log in’ button and then choosing to log in via Edinburgh Napier University.
