Outlook Bookable Meeting Rooms
 
Description

As part of the Office 365 project all Outlook bookable rooms will be migrated to Office 365 on Wednesday 14 March.

Prior to the migration, they will be renamed so they follow a consistent naming convention. This will happen on Monday 12 March. The naming convention is as follows:

• <CAMPUS (in format): Craiglockhart, Merchiston, Sighthill> <ROOM NUMBER (in existing notation as per PlanOn, e.g. for Merchiston C31, for Craiglockhart 3/65, for Sighthill 6.B.14)> followed by additional information if required.

We expect all existing bookings to update automatically and do not anticipate any changes to the current process - the only change being the room name.

This will not have an impact on the normal room process for booking meeting rooms and timetabled classrooms. Should you require a centrally bookable space, please continue to use the online room booking form. Guidance on centrally bookable space can be found here.
