The annual Moodle Moot was held at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange 14-16 April 2014, attracting over 400 participants from 26 countries including South Africa, Spain, Australia and Belgium to name a few. Around 40% of the attendees had travelled from out with the UK. The attendees were made up of staff working with Moodle in different capacities, from mostly educational organisations (schools, colleges and universities) and corporate organisations (usually in the staff training/development departments).
Edinburgh Napier was the official conference partner through funding from Information Services, and the University was well represented with 10 presentations and posters, as well as session chairing and panel duties.
This 'Storify' conference report collates the photos from all the Edinburgh Napier sessions and relevant tweets from the audience (note the report is over three pages). There were presentations from the Faculties and Professional Services, and these covered a range of technical, teaching and learning support topics. It was a fantastic two days which showed that the University is a source of innovation and expertise in our approach to Moodle.
