PROFESSOR Alistair Sambell has been announced as the University’s new Vice-Principal and Deputy Vice-Chancellor.
Andrea Nolan, Principal and Vice-Chancellor of Edinburgh Napier said: “I am delighted that the University Court has approved the appointment of Professor Alistair Sambell as Vice-Principal and Deputy Vice-Chancellor.
“Alistair will provide leadership and vision in achieving the University's strategic goals, particularly in relation to academic policy and strategy. He will also deputise for me as appropriate in a range of duties.”
Professor Sambell, who was previously Vice-Principal (Academic) takes up his new post with immediate effect.
