To help ensure your festive break runs smoothly, here's a handy guide to our opening hours at Edinburgh Napier facilities over the festive period.
University buildings
All University buildings with the exception of the JKCC and the Merchiston Library 24 hour study space will be closed from Tuesday 23 December 2014 (5pm) to Friday 2 January 2015. The University will re-open on Saturday 3 January 2015 with normal resticted weekend access arrangements (you will require your card to gain access).
Normal University business and access arrangements will resume on Monday 5 January 2015.
[EN]GAGE
[EN]GAGE sports facilities at both Sighthill and Craiglockhart will be closed for the winter break from
Tuesday 23 December 2014 (1pm) until Saturday 3 January 2015 (10am).
Libraries and Jack Kilby Computing Centre
In exception to the general University opening hours above, over the Christmas period the JKCC and Merchiston Library (Zone 1 only) will reopen at 9am on Saturday 27 December and will close again at 6pm on Tuesday 30 December. During this period there will be a limited cleaning service. Please note the Merchiston Library 24 hour study space does not provide access to any physical book stock.

Napier Students Association
The NSA will be closed from
12 noon on Friday 19 December and will re-open on Monday 5 January. Should you require urgent access to services due to a crisis, please contact external health professionals, the Citizen’s Advice Bureau, or the emergency services. Advice and Support, along with contact details for external agencies will be available on the
NSA website during the closure period.
