Students from our School of Arts and Creative Industries have achieved great success at this years’ Starpack Student Design Awards and the prestigious Roses Student Creativity Awards.

 

Our students beat many high quality entries this year, including international entries, putting Edinburgh Napier in the top three universities/colleges overall.
 
 
In Category A: Grow your own culinary herb kit, the students awarded were:
  • Gavin Housely (Product Design) – Gold Star Award, also winning the category overall with the Benson Group sponsored award of £500 plus work experience - See his project
  • Cameron Perrie (Product Design) – Gold Star Award - See his project
  • Brogan Anderson (Product Design) – Silver Star Award
  • Elliot Parry (Graphic Design) – Silver Star Award - See his project
  • Paul Meikle (Product Design) – Silver Star Award
  • Megan Currie (Product Design) – Commendation
  • Lewis Bradley (Product Design) – Commendation
 
 
In Category C: Squash'd, the student awarded was:
  • Jamie Whitelaw (Graphic Design) – Commendation
 
As well as this, two students have also made it to the final of the prestigious Roses Student Creativity Awards. MSc Creative Advertising students, Edd Norval and Lisa Goldie, have been named as winners for one of the nine briefs and will go forward to the overall competition in May.
