The results from the Postgraduate Taught and Research Experience Surveys are now in for the University, providing insight as the only national surveys for postgraduate students:
Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey
When looking at the overall satisfaction results for the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey, 83 per cent of respondents were satisfied with their course - up from 76% in 2014.
Feedback comments include between 83 and 87 per cent believing 'staff are good at explaining things; staff are enthusiastic about what they reach; the courses were intellectually stimulating; the courses enhanced academic ability; and learning materials were useful.'
Along with this, in 2015 Edinburgh Napier's
response rate was 39 per cent, with 724 out of 1,854 students responding. You can read more information on the key findings from the Postgraduate Taught Experience survey

The overall satisfaction results for the Postgraduate Research Experience survey are as follows, with comparison to our 2013 rating:

Along with this, 2015 saw one of the highest response rates that the University has achieved for PRES, with 112 of a potential 267 research students responding to the survey. This meant we had a response rate of 42%, comparing to 40% throughout the UK.
