SCOTTISH cybercrime experts last night joined leading players from the ICT industry to discuss the need for a highly skilled workforce fit to face new and emerging online threats. The event was hosted by the Institute of Informatics & Digital Innovation at Microsoft’s Edinburgh headquarters.
Speakers included DI Eammon Keane of the Scottish Crime and Drug Enforcement agency’s E-Crime unit; Federico Charosky, Managing Consultant of Vatca Security Sciences and Edinburgh Napier’s Professor Bill Buchanan.
