The student portal audience is current matriculated students. They require a username and password to access the system therefore it is not available to anybody who does not have login access to the Edinburgh Napier IT network. This means that staff also have access to the student portal. The student portal is currently being reviewed to ensure that it meets the needs of our student body.

The above homepage is a gateway site to various web resources. Content is also managed in distinct Student Portal sites. Content Managers have been established for certain service units & schools with update and approval rights. IT will maintain control of certain core parts of the site.
On the homepage you will find sources of recent News, Events and Announcements affecting students at the University. They should check it every time they log in, to see if anything new has been added which is of relevance. University wide News, Events & Announcements are administered by Student & Academic Services and representatives from several service areas, School-targeted announcements are administered by School Offices, and NSA announcements are administered by the NSA.
