Welcome to HERE-N (Hub for Education Research at Edinburgh Napier)

The idea of building a community of staff with an interest in education research at Edinburgh Napier University is not a new one. In January 2007, a paper entitled ‘Education Research at Napier: its promotion and dissemination’ was presented to the University LTA Committee (LTAC/06/14) by Professors Fred Percival and Morag Gray and Dr. Norrie Brown. More recently, in January 2009 a group of Senior Teaching Fellows from across the University worked to produce a proposal for a conceptual structure which will bring together and reinforce existing strengths in education research as well as fostering new developments in supportive collegial culture.
