Patricia Perry

Patricia is currently a Lecturer and Academic Conduct Officer in the School of Nursing, Midwifery & Social Care. Patricia is a registered nurse with a background in surgical nursing, care of older people and clinical teaching. Within her school Patricia is a module leader for an undergraduate veterinary nursing module, deputy module leader for adult nursing modules, a cohort leader for the Shortened Programme for Graduates undertaking the Bachelor of Nursing (Adult) and she has experience in teaching students from a broad range of disciplines. Her key areas of teaching are professional, ethical and legal issues in health care; communication skills; and the care of individuals with enduring conditions.
Her particular areas of interest are internationalisation and the curriculum, meeting the needs of international students, the use of technology for teaching and learning, and education for the prevention of academic and non-academic misconduct.
