Moodle Updates
The Moodle Updates site contains information on the development and maintenance of the University’s VLE system, Moodle.
On this site contains information on ‘Hotfixes’ which have been applied to Moodle which is a result of a reported bug or an improvement request on existing Moodle functionality. The “Hotfix Log List” on the left-hand navigation panel will provide details of the hotfix including the type of fix, and the date/time which the fix was applied to the Moodle Live servers.
The ‘New Additions’ section records all new functionality introduced into the Moodle Live servers, from Moodle plugins and modules to other features developed for Moodle users. Similar to the hotfix section, this contains further details of the new additions and in some cases, other documentation including word documents and video material about that addition.
The news sections will keep users up-to-date on the latest Moodle news, including scheduled service downtime.
The ‘Road Map’ section highlights the proposed year view plan of Moodle development, although subject to change, will provide a high level view of the on-going work carried out on the University’s VLE system.
