MS Office 2007 for Personal Use
Microsoft are currently running a promotion which enables staff and students to purchase Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007 at the heavily discounted price of £38.95. Due to licensing restrictions if you purchase this software it must only be used for personal use. Go to the Microsoft website to find out more:

MS Office 2007 for Work Use
Edinburgh Napier University has purchased licence coverage for Microsoft Office 2007 Work at Home CDs through its Microsoft Campus Subscription Enrolment. As a result MS Office 2007 Work at Home CDs are now available for staff to purchase from the C&IT Support Desk for a £15 charge. These are single installation CDs - once installed they cannot be used again. Due to licensing restrictions you must only use the software for work related purposes.
If you are interested in purchasing an MS Office 2007 Work at Home CD please complete the MS Office 2007 Work at Home Agreement and post it to the C&IT Support Desk, ensuring that it has been signed by your departmental budget holder:

Once your form has been received by the C&IT Support Desk they will dispatch your CDs via the internal mail only. The following document explains how to install the software:

Please note: If you experience any problem with the CD a new form will need to be submitted in order to receive a replacement.

Endnote Web
The desktop version of EndNote is available for Edinburgh Napier University Staff and Students to use when working on campus. EndNote Web, the online version of EndNote allows users to manage their references and create bibliographies off-campus. Further information about registering and getting started with EndNote Web can be found in the following document:

Software for Loan from Library
Under the terms of our University software licensing agreements, as an Edinburgh Napier University staff member you are entitled to borrow the software packages listed below to install on your home computer, for work related purposes.
Copies of this software are available to borrow through the campus libraries. Please use the library catalogue on NUIN to check availability. Each item of software is available on a 7 day loan basis. The items can be renewed through NUIN. Failure to return or renew items before the due date will incur a fine.
