I manage the Quality & Standards Team in the Department for Learning & Teaching Enhancement and lead on matters relating to quality assurance and enhancement of taught and credit-bearing provision in the University. I hold a Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (AdvanceHE) for my role in supporting teaching and learning. 

I have been providing professional support and guidance on matters relating to academic quality since 2009. Prior to that, I worked at the School of Education at Durham University where I provided professional support to the School’s postgraduate provision and research office. I represent the University on Scotland’s Teaching Quality Forum (TQF), where I am Vice-Convenor and am an experienced QAA Scotland Reviewer.
