As part of the BT Sport Scottish Rugby Academy partnership, Edinburgh Napier University will be investing in new strength and conditioning studios, facilities for the BT Sport Scottish Rugby Academy and upgrades to the [EN]gage sport centre at Sighthill Campus.

The finished building will provide great new facilities for staff, students, gym members, SRU players and the local community.

Please check back for important updates which will be provided on a regular basis below.

Update: [EN]GAGE Sports and Fitness Centre Sighthill facilities closure      13 May 2016

The Sports and Fitness Centre will be CLOSED from May 20 (5pm) until May 30 (7:30am) in order for important building works to occur.

Update: Revolving door closure       16 December 2015

The revolving doors at West side of the main campus building leading to the previous [EN]GAGE entrance, will be closed due to continuing work on the Sighthill gym extension.

To enter the building please use either the main entrance or the northern revolving doors located next to the Starbucks in the atrium facing Edinburgh College. Thank you very much for your patience during this temporary requirement; we shall keep users updated on when the revolving doors will be back in use.

Property & Facilities apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Update: Entrance and reception change   25 November 2015

A temporary entrance and reception re-location for [EN]GAGE sport and fitness centre and the School of Life, Sport and Social Sciences and Sport & Exercise Science Labs will begin November 30th 2015, with the expected end date of April 2016.

To access the new entrance please exit the main campus building through revolving doors beside Starbucks, then go left until you get to the accessibility ramp. Signage will be in place to help you. Over the next month the build will comprise of formation of foundations, erecting the steel frame and internal reconfiguration works to existing [EN]GAGE reception. There is inevitably a large amount of construction noise associated with a project of this size and scale. We are carefully planning works to minimise disruption and we will specifically ensure there is zero impact during exam times.

Thank you for your patience with this project!
