Cycling and Walking

The City of Edinburgh Council have created cycling and walking maps covering the entire city.  42 Colinton Road is covered by the South map.  SPOKES also produce excellent maps highlighting all off road routes, and a great deal more information throughout Edinburgh.  The University has a number of maps to give away to staff and students (thanks to a grant from SEStran).  Contact Jamie Pearson if you would like one.  The CycleStreets website can also help you plan your journey by bicycle or foot, with an option to find quieter routes.

There are exposed and external sheffield stands at 42 Colinton Road.  There are no shower facilities or lockers unfortunately.  Shower and locker facilities for all cyclists, joggers and walkers are available at our Merchiston Campus, 0.6 miles along Colinton Road.  Collect keys from reception within the main campus building.
