Welcome to Academic Professional Development
Academic Professional Development aims to facilitate the enhancement of academic practice, to promote innovation in academic provision and to underpin researcher development through the academic professional development programme of events, the academic induction programme and annual staff conferences.
The team also offers tailored development and support to meet the particular needs and priorities of faculties, schools and particular academic roles. We also showcase, celebrate and facilitate the sharing of good practice across the University.
Academic Professional Development also champions technology-enhanced learning and supports staff in their use. We are also engaged in a number of developmental projects including Programme Leading.
