Sick Pay

Sickness absence reporting is completed online via HR Connect.

Absences are dealt with as follows:

  • From 1 - 7 days (including weekends):  Employee self-certifies online
  • Over 7 days - a doctor's medical Fit Note is required.

If these certificates are received within the School or Service, they should be recorded by the manager/sickness contact on HR Connect and the original documents must be sent to Payroll.
