​Steve Yorkstone Chairs International Operational Excellence Conference

Steve, from our ABL team, was out and about in May at the LMJ Opex Conference. The LMJ is a magazine for continuous improvement, lean and operational excellence across industries, and Steve represents us on the magazine’s editorial board.

This year the conference was in London, and had speakers from household name companies such as RBS, HSBC, Kellogg’s, McDonald’s, Renault-Nissan Consulting, and even Tata Steel!

The event explored the different ways that organisations, from many sectors, seek to achieve excellence. It brought out the similarities (and yes, mostly similarities) between approaches such as Agile, DevOps, OpEx, and Lean.

Our Steve was involved as chairperson for the event, moderating the entire conference, and as such was asked to present the Lean Top 25 awards, which recognise the top achievers and unsung heroes in continuous improvement type approaches around the world.
