Some of your favourite electronic resources available from Edinburgh Napier Library now have mobile-friendly interfaces. These may include apps that you download to your smartphone or tablet.
See the A-Z list of databases.
Searching on your mobile means you tend to lose functionality or features compared to the full database. If you are on campus and logged in to a wi-fi network, you may be automatically recognised as being at Edinburgh Napier University, but you may also need to log in via a full size page, and may not be able to access full-text.
What are QR codes?
QR codes are two dimensional barcodes, which you can scan using the camera on your smartphone. You may see these in our libraries. Simply scan the barcode (as above right) to be taken straight to the website. To do this you need to have a QR code reader app, many of which can be downloaded for free (e.g. Red Laser from the iPhone App Store or Barcode Scanner from the Google Play Store).
