Statistics & Measures  

Application reports and statistics are regularly updated and are available via the Planning and Intelligence Team site.

Qualifications

Entry criteria to courses are agreed on an annual basis with colleagues from the Faculties and the International College.  The information published on our prospectus and website is accurate at the time of print, however, there may be changes to the entry criteria for particular courses.

Confirmation and Clearing

Confirmation and Clearing are two key points in the Admissions process. 

Confirmation is the process where we compare the conditional offers made to applicants against their results.  This process takes place from late July through to the end of August each year – for Scottish Highers, A Levels, Irish Leaving Certificates, HNC/D, and other qualifications. 

Clearing is the UCAS service that helps applicants without a University or College place find suitable vacancies.  The Clearing operation at Edinburgh Napier usually runs from early August, the Higher Publication Day, through to the end of August.

 
Team Responsibilities

Sarah Philp is the Team Leader and she line manages the Admissions Assistants and play a key role in ensuring that the admissions processes run effectively and efficiently on a day to day basis.

Diane Smith plays a key role ensuring that the Admissions system on SITS works effectively, that the interface with and the information we receive from UCAS is working and accurate, and that system problems are resolved quickly and effectively.

Kate Bickerdike and Keith Hutchison are the primary contacts for FECCI undergraduate applications.

Jane Murray and Lydia Brown are the primary contacts for FHLSS undergraduate applications.

Anne Che and Lyndsay Paterson are the primary contacts for The Business School undergraduate applications.
