The NHS in Scotland turns 70 on 5 July – and five academic nursing and midwifery lecturers within the School of Health and Social Care are organising a Big7Tea and exhibition at our Sighthill campus to celebrate!

Tea, coffee and cupcakes will be on offer, with all donations going to Edinburgh and Lothians Health Foundation NHS Charity.

The exhibition will include posters and exhibits from each of the NHS decades from the 1940s up to and including content on the future of the NHS in Scotland, and nurse and midwifery education.

There will also be an opportunity to watch video content from retired nurses, current nursing and midwifery lecturers, and students – and a competition to win a £70 Blackwell’s Bookshop gift voucher.
