Edinburgh Napier has close links with the Royal Edinburgh Hospital (REH) in Morningside, delivering a BN Nursing (Mental Health) Programme in our School of Health & Social Care.
This year’s REH summer fete is on Friday, 31 August, between 11am and 2pm. The fete is a great opportunity for staff, patients, and the local community to come together and raise money for much needed patient funds. This only happens through the hard work of staff and volunteers who take on a wide variety of tasks such as running the barbecue, selling teas and coffees, helping on stalls, assisting with the raffle, supporting the entertainers, directing people to where they need to be and various manual tasks, including setting up beforehand and packing away afterwards.
This year they are a little low on volunteers, and are asking if any University colleagues might be interested in coming along to help out and see some of the great work done by NHS staff and third sector organisations in the hospital. They are also collecting donations for the raffle, should you wish to support.
