The dates for Edinburgh Napier’s summer graduation ceremonies at the Usher Hall are below. We’re looking for colleagues across the institution to help in supporting these events:

The Business School – Accountancy, Finance & Law; Marketing Sales & Entrepreneurship; Tourism & Languages
Friday 5 July 2019 at 3pm
The Business School – International Business; The Edinburgh Institute; Flexible Managed Programmes
Graduation ceremonies are high profile events which reflect well on the University and we’re keen that our ceremonies are supported by colleagues from all areas to ensure they run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. We require support from staff in Schools and Professional Services to help out with ushering and other duties.

We appreciate everyone is busy but graduation is an enjoyable day and it is a great privilege to see our students cross the stage and receive their awards.
Contact Anne Bankhead if you can volunteer your services for one or more of the days by Friday 17 May at the latest.
Please note there is only one ceremony on Wednesday 3 July (starting at 2pm) and we would need some staff from approximately 11am, providing lunch in the ‘green room’ with some duties commencing at 11.30am.
It’s important colleagues guarantee their commitment to the full day if possible, as it can cause significant difficulties if people drop out at the last minute.
