When dealing with emails:
- Think carefully before you respond to or follow instructions in an email from a sender you don’t recognise
- Always check the sender’s email address – these should come from an Edinburgh Napier email address (@napier.ac.uk) only
- Any request for outstanding payment from Edinburgh Napier will be sent from creditcontrol@napier.ac.uk - the email will make direct reference to your School or department and give details of who to contact if you require further information
If you receive any suspicious emails or telephone calls from anyone claiming to work for Edinburgh Napier or another UK university, contact the IS Service Desk via ISServiceDesk@napier.ac.uk or 0131 455 3000.
If you suspect your account may have been compromised or think you may have clicked on a suspicious link, contact the IS Service Desk immediately.
