Places are available on a free half day course, ‘Alcohol and Drugs Workshop for Managers', at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh on Tuesday, 3 December, from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
Managers have a crucial role in supporting colleagues’ health and wellbeing. The training is designed to provide information and guidance to help address workplace issues regarding alcohol and drugs.
The sessions will enable managers to create a greater awareness of issues around alcohol and drugs in their workplace and provide them with the knowledge and skills to deal with these as they arise.
The sessions are delivered by Alcohol Focus Scotland trainers and co-ordinated by the Healthy Working Lives team.
