The festive season is upon us and Christmas decorations are beginning to spring up over our workspaces and campuses.
Here are some safety tips to keep you off Santa’s naughty list:
- Using electrically powered lights to decorate trees or your office space? Check for any loose or frayed wiring or damaged plugs before switching them on
- Ensure that any plugs or extension blocks used are not overloaded
- Make sure that the lights are switched off at the end of the working day
- Decorative battery operated lights are safe to be used
