Nominations
are open for the staff member of University Court elected from and by Edinburgh Napier’s
non-academic staff.
If
you wish to stand for this position, complete a nomination form and return it by 5pm on Thursday 17 September
to court@napier.ac.uk. Copy the
message to your proposer and seconder, as that will be considered their digital
signature for the purposes of this process.
You
should also submit a statement in support of your candidacy by close of
nominations. Some guidance on candidate supporting statements is
available here.
You
are eligible to stand for election, to propose or second a
candidate, and to vote, if you are in post during the period of the
election and are employed under a permanent or fixed term non‑academic
contract. The election regulations are available here.
If
more than one candidate comes forward by close of nominations, there will be an
election contest. If so, all non-academic staff will be able to vote
online between 23 and 30 September.
The successful
candidate will serve on Court for a four-year term, beginning in
October 2020.
You
can read more about University Court and what membership entails in
the Governor Applicant
