Skype for Business is a communication platform that enables instant messaging, audio and video conferencing, online meetings and more.
Staff can:
- Communicate with colleagues with ease, in real-time, without the need to be in the same office, campus or location
- Make business calls using the internet or directly to a mobile phone
- Add audio, video and collaboration to Instant Messenger conversations
- Join an online meeting, from any place or device – even via mobile phones
Purchasing Equipment
To use Skype for Business to its full potential, your department may wish to purchase headsets and webcams.
For Health and Safety reasons we advise against sharing headsets.
