Following on from her Cabaret of Dangerous Ideas Edinburgh Fringe show on 5 August, entitled ‘Who do you want to wipe your bum?’, School of Health & Social Care research fellow Anna Schneider appeared on the Reasons to be Cheerful with Ed Miliband and Geoff Lloyd podcast to share her research in big data and its relevance to society.
The podcast sees former Labour Party leader Ed Miliband, and Sony Award-winning radio host Geoff Lloyd talk to smart thinkers from around the world. This particular episode is titled ‘Big data can improve your health’ and looks at, though Private companies are collecting a lot of information about each of us, when it comes to our health and wellbeing, that might not be such a bad thing.
