Lara Findlay is director and co-founder of GearedApp, an Edinburgh-based mobile app and web development company born out of our School of Computing. With a background in languages, IT and customer relations, Lara founded GearedApp in 2013 with fellow Edinburgh Napier students and has since grown the company to a team of 15, working with clients from all over the globe.

Lara has extensive experience and passion when it comes to business development, growing teams and developing company culture and shared her entrepreneurial story in the Riady Lecture Theatre at Craiglockhart campus on 5 November. Click here to see what happened at this event.

Tonight (7 November), another Edinburgh Napier alumnus, Andrew Speake, who founded the company G2G3, will be sharing his entrepreneurial journey, also at Craiglockhart.

Andrew started G2G3 in 2000 and sold the company in 2013. Andrew was fundamental to the growth of the company, developing and aligning product development to changing customer demands and expanding the partner network globally to over 200 partners including HP, Microsoft and IBM. He graduated from the University with a BEng Hons in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology and a PGdip in Information Systems and Marketing.
