University’s Student Futures team are partnering with Dell Technologies to
bring their successful STEMAspire mentoring programme to Edinburgh Napier
With a mission to support more
women into careers in technology, this year-long programme offers students the
opportunity to be matched with an industry mentor for one to one support as
well as access online skills and career development events.
Further information about the
programme, which has been running since 2018 with universities in Glasgow, can
be found in this STEMAspire 2020 video.
The programme is open to women in their
third or fourth year of an undergraduate degree in computing, life sciences,
engineering and the built environment. Please encourage any students who fit
this criteria to attend our Virtual Q&A session on Thursday 15th October where representatives from Dell Technologies will cover the
benefits of programme in more detail.
The Student Futures team will be
selecting 17 applicants to participate. Students are required to complete a
short application from telling us about themselves and how they would benefit
from this brilliant career development opportunity.
Please email Cheryl
McCreadie if you have
any questions about this initiative.
