Scotland's Climate Week, 23 - 29 September 2024, is an annual event that encourages individuals, communities and businesses to come together to show support for tackling the climate emergency.
At Edinburgh Napier University, we have a strong track record of reducing our carbon and overall environmental impact and are commitment to achieving net zero carbon in our operations by 2030 at the latest.
To celebrate the week, encourage climate action, and to learn more about tackling climate change, we have a programme of events taking place in all three of our campuses and online.
Get involved in our workshops and activities to discover ways to make a positive environmental impact and gain insights on sustainability and how you can contribute to a greener future.

C3R clothes swap
It's also Second-Hand September, a chance for us to take a stance against the impact of fast fashion by shopping second hand.
On Wednesday 25 September, between 10.30am and 1pm in the foyer at Merchiston, charity project C3R will be hosting a Clothes Swap. Come along and refresh your autumn wardrobe in a sustainable way by trading in your pre-loved items for something "new-to-you" without the environmental footprint.
Weaving Workshop
Feeling creative? Try your hand at something different with C3R's Weaving Workshop and learn a new skill! Drop by the Merchiston foyer between 10.30am and 1pm on Wednesday 25 September.
We're also looking to offer Carbon Literacy Training later in the year. The online Carbon Literacy course is a blended learning experience with self-study elements and two half-day virtual sessions. This course provides essential climate change knowledge, helping you understand the climate impacts of daily actions and gain motivation to reduce your personal and workplace emissions.
