Round up of press coverage levels achieved across the University

The Advertising Value Equivalent (AVE) of media coverage levels generated across the University from the beginning of October 2012 to the end of January 2013 has been about £2million.

More than 700 positive stories have appeared about the University during this time.
 
Traditional Media highlights have included: RLS day, public lecture series Media Mondays, the launch of the Destination Leadership Programme, research from the Employment Research Institute and the University’s graduation ceremonies.
On social media the NSA’s Christmas Hamper campaign, The National Student Survey and Kolkata Graduations have all proved popular.

In November, we joined ‘PodOmatic’ and have so far have 1, 368 listens or downloads of our podcasts.
On Facebook 15, 149 people saw posts about the American Football Varsity Game in the weeks before and during the match.

Engineering student Robert Turnbull’s inspiring work in Kenya attracted 2, 618 unique users.

And Robert Louis Stevenson Day was also a big hit, with 12, 876 people watching our films or viewing our posts about #RLSday
