Our autumn graduation ceremonies take place on Wednesday 30 and Thursday 31 October at the Usher Hall:
Wednesday, 30 October at 2pm

- The School of Computing
Thursday, 31 October at 11am
- The School of Applied Sciences
- The School of Arts & Creative Industries
- The School of Engineering & the Built Environment
Thursday, 31 October at 3pm
- The School of Health & Social Care
Graduation ceremonies are high profile events which reflect well on the University and we are keen that our ceremonies are supported by colleagues from all areas to ensure that they run as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
Let Anne Bankhead know if you wish to volunteer for one or more of these days by Friday 20 September at the latest.
Please note that, while there is only one ceremony on Wednesday 30 October, starting at 2pm, we would need some colleagues from 11am, providing lunch in the ‘green room’, with some duties commencing at 11.30am.
You’ll find a full list of timings for these days and the duties required here.
It is important that colleagues guarantee their commitment to a full day if possible, as it can cause significant difficulties if people drop out at the last minute.
