Student
democracy is a vital aspect of the work Edinburgh Napier Students’ Association (ENSA)
undertake to ensure the interests of our students are represented within the
University, in our local communities and on the national stage.
Each
year, the student body elects the 11 members of ENSA’s Student Executive, in an
online cross-campus ballot. The elected students take up office in the summer
for a term of one year, working to gather student views and opinions to
identify issues, and forge partnerships to develop solutions and drive
improvements.
Voting
takes place across one week, this year running from 9 to 13 March, and you’ll
probably see the candidates out and about on campus, as well as all of the
candidates’ posters displayed across the University.
While colleagues
cannot endorse or support particular candidates, please take the time to
encourage your students to take an active interest in these elections and use
their democratic right to vote.
You can
find out more about the elections on the ENSA website.
