​Due to required electrical works for new electric vehicle charging points, Sighthill campus will close early at 4pm on Friday 31 March.

There will be no live power supplies across the campus from 5pm and the site will operate on safety systems only for the duration of the works.

In order to give time to clear and check the campus in advance of the work, the building will close to everyone apart from essential operations staff from 4pm on Friday 31 March. The campus will remain closed until normal business resumes on Saturday 1 April.

Library and IT update

Due to the Sighthill campus electrical works on Friday 31 March, please ensure that you shut down any on-campus desktops and other equipment prior to the 4pm campus closure. This is to avoid any loss of data or file corruption.

The LRC Helpdesk will close from 3.30pm, and the Lapsafe Laptop Loan service will be unavailable from 3.30pm on Friday 31 March until 9am on Monday 3 April. 

Property and facilities update

The Sighthill Espresso Lab will close at 3.15pm to allow for clean down procedures before the campus closure. ENGAGE sports facilities will also close early at 4pm.
