Conference venue


The conference will take place in the Craiglockhart campus of Edinburgh Napier University.


If you intend to travel by bus within Edinburgh, you need to prepare the exact fares for your bus tickets, as no changes will be given. Alternatively, you can download the App ‘Transport for Edinburgh’ to your smartphone and pay for the tickets with your credit card. A ticket for a single trip / multiple trips costs £1.60 / £4 (regardless of the distance of travel).




Conference delegates are responsible for booking their own accommodation. The Bruntsfield Hotel is a popular choice for visitors coming to our campus (approximately 20 mins by bus), or search for more local options. If intending to come you are advised to book early as accommodation rates will increase nearer the Edinburgh Festivals in the summer.


Conference dinner


The conference dinner is to be held on the evening of Monday 19 June in The Merlin Roadhouse, situated in the lovely neighbourhood of Morningside. The cost (£28.50 per person) is in addition to the conference registration fee. If you would like to attend, please sign up and pay for the dinner when you register. The conference dinner is limited in number, so registration will be based on a first-come first-served basis.
