As we approach the deadline for Above & Beyond nominations, we caught up with Alli Coyle, Student Administration Officer, to find out why nominating is important.
"Last year I nominated the University Timetabling Team (Support Services) for a Pride of Napier award. Timetabling is complex and one small change to our timetabling parameters (or public health advice) creates a huge amount of work. Every year I believe that the team makes a huge difference to the University, our staff and our students. Their perseverance and dedication means our students and staff have up-to-date timetables throughout the academic year. Combine the challenges of their timetabling work with their other commitments and they are an inspirational group of people.
I believe that by nominating them not only gives them the chance to win an award, but also, and more importantly, it shows they are recognised and valued for the contributions they make to the University."
