On 21 March 2022, University Court came together for their latest meeting. During the meeting, members of Court were updated on a range of University initiatives and strategy items including:
- the University’s Environmental Sustainability Strategy,
- staff health and wellbeing support and future plans, and
- student recruitment.
Court members also confirmed the University’s position that it would not formally adopt the IHRA Anti-Semitism definition given the University’s clearly articulated commitment to diversity and inclusion and policies and procedures which protect against all forms of discrimination.
A report on the University’s current financial position, the Edinburgh Napier Student’s Association’s Annual Report and Accounts, the Complaints Annual Report and Top Risks Monitoring Report were noted. They also noted the minutes from the meetings of Academic Board and Court’s sub-committees.
