Within the Infrastructure Systems Group there are several separate logging services, managed by different teams for different purposes. Replacing these with a single centralised logging service is expected to deliver the following benefits:

This project will look at migrating the current ISDN 30 trunks to SIP trunks as we have been informed that ISDN 30 trunks will be removed by Vodafone as early as March 2018.

The software currently recommended for use by staff and students, TrueCrypt, is unlikely to be suitable in the longer term, as development has ceased and the software lacks features which are desirable in the enterprise environment e.g. CESG certification, key management and policy enforcement.
Review all estates drawing and update to ensure in a consistetnt format for integration with Planon. Agree processes to ensure any changes to space are updated in Planon within 1 month of change occurring.
SAF is felt no longer fit for purpose so HR team have recentlly been working with Steve Yorkstone to look at process. This is likely to result in minimum change requests or potentally a n ohter solution that is not current SAF application
Linked to SAF project as some of the processes that are currently driven by SAF may fall out of that and require alternative solution which would be either be an action in itrent or potentially an e-form
