Marketing & Design
We offer a wide range of marketing services to internal clients throughout the University. If you have a product or service you want to market to an external audience of students, businesses or other stakeholders, we are here to help you.
Get us involved early and we'll help ensure the best return on your marketing spend. Our services go well beyond just producing leaflets and brochures, talk to us from the start and we can help you put together a whole marketing strategy. This would cover such things as customer segmentation, key messages, integrated campaigns and detailed advice on which marketing tactics will work best.
We work closely with Student & Academic Services, Schools and International Operations designing, developing and delivering integrated student recruitment campaigns, including UCAS and postgraduate advertising. For further information contact Leanne Mabberley on email@example.com or ext 6312.
Design for print
If you need artwork or printed collateral, our graphic design team can help you out. For smaller projects, we have a highly cost effective internal design team. And to help out when demand peaks, a team of external freelancers on call, at the same competitive rate.
We design and produce a wide range of marketing materials including brochures, posters, flyers, leaflets, adverts, postcards, banners and merchandise. We can manage your design project from beginning to end, including all planning, design and even get you printing quotes, helping you to manage costs and timescales. We'll keep you up to date with progress, working with you on selecting design ideas and other options as we go.
For those new to the process, we recommend reading our Design Project Guide, which gives an overview of the service we offer and how to get the best out of it. If you want to get straight to work, fill in our Marketing and Communications Service Request form and send back to firstname.lastname@example.org. For larger jobs or whole campaigns we have approved external design and artworking suppliers, who know and understand our brand and are on hand to quickly provide creative input. The marketing and brand team manage these agencies and allocate work in accordance with University and faculty priorities. A competitive tender process was followed to appoint these agencies, who undertake work for the whole University. Individuals should not appoint their own creative design agencies without first consulting Leanne Mabberley on ext 6312.
