Teaching Sensitive Topics and Dealing with Uncomfortable Conversations in the Classroom

This session will explore current challenges facing ENU staff in their teaching spaces as they are confronted with difficult topics both in the curriculum, and in classroom discussions that emerge, between staff and students and also between students themselves. We will identify some strategies to put in place to help manage these challenges and it will be an opportunity for you to share some of your own experiences and practices in this area, if you are keen to do so. This will be of interest to anyone teaching at ENU.
