What can I do right now to enhance assessment and feedback on my module?

 

Designing assessments and giving feedback are defining activities for Higher Education, yet students and staff often report dissatisfaction and frustration with them. Changes are coming – the university’s Programme-Focussed Approach to Assessment and Feedback (PFAAF) project will run through to August 2017 and is looking at where we can improve, what support is needed, and where any changes to regulations need to happen. However, there is plenty that can be done before this happens to improve learning right now and good principles to follow to ease the transition when PFAAF starts to roll out.
