I am a Lecturer (Academic Practice) in the Department of Learning and Teaching Enhancement at Edinburgh Napie​​​​r University.  I am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.  

My job responsibilities include teaching MSc in Blended and Online Education and mentoring on the PgCert Teaching and Supporting Learning in Higher Education and ENroute programme.  

I have worked in a number of universities as distance learning developer, e-learning advisor, and lecturer. 

I am currently writing up my PhD thesis “A phenomenographic study in the UK HE academic’s experiences of designing MOOCs” (Lancaster University). My research interests include HE academic’s professional development, HE academic’s conceptions of and approaches to teaching and curriculum design, online teaching and learning experience evaluation.
