Chemicals and Oils
All chemicals used at the University must be registered on the University wide Chemicals Database. For access to the database, please contact your School or Department Technician or the Health & Safety Office. COSHH assessment forms are available on the Health & Safety Office intranet pages. All contractors onsite must adhere to all Health & Safety procedures. For more information, again, contact the Health & Safety Office.
The appropriate procurement, use and storage of chemicals is covered through the development of our Environmental Management System (EMS) to ensure that we meet all good practice and legislative requirements. A copy of our legislative register is available on our EMS intranet pages.
