Salary Scales
The salary scales are reviewed annually, and we currently participate in national pay bargaining with Trade Unions through the employer's association, UCEA. This process determines the increase that is applied to salary points within Grades 2 to 7, automatically each year. We are committed to paying the Real Living Wage for all paid work across the University and are an accredited Living Wage Employer.
The salary scales below include National Insurance and pension costs for budgeting purposes, as well as individual salaries aligned to pay points and hourly rates of pay.
The 2024-2025 pay award will be implemented in two phases. In the first phase, updated annual salaries with effect from 1 August 2024, will be reflected in October 2024 pay, with the remainder added from 1 March 2025.
