Stage 2 - Advertising your vacancy
Our standard advertising strategy is web-based. You will have the choice to advertise your role internally, externally or both. Your role will be advertised for either a 2 week or 28 days minimum depending on whether you would like to recruit out with the EEA – Please see the pre-employment section for more information on visas & immigration.
Vacancies will be placed on the following platforms by your Talent & Recruitment Consultant at no cost to your department/school:
Edinburgh Napier University Website – our university's external website
Job.ac.uk – a specialist job site for careers in academic, research, science and related professions
S1jobs – All support roles will be placed here
Find a job - All roles will be placed on this website
Career Transition Partnership – Jobsite for Armed Forces Resettlement. All professional service roles will be placed here
Any additional adverts placed out with the above should be discussed with your Talent & Recruitment Consultant and will be funded by you. It is your responsibility as a hiring manager to have the necessary budgetary approval in place for any advertising campaigns.
All costs for advertising will be cross charged to your department.
