The Covid Health Helpdesk

The University’s Covid Health Helpdesk is here to support colleagues and students who have questions about what they should do if they or someone they live with has coronavirus symptoms, and to direct them to our current advice.

You can contact the helpdesk via covidhealthhelpdesk@napier.ac.uk or on 0131 455 2600 between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.

The helpdesk can take inquiries from a range of sources, including students, their parents and University staff.

They can advise on the first steps you need to take if you have symptoms, can give the right advice for you as a staff member or student in the University, and are able to direct you to the people in the university who can help if you need more support.

All helpdesk staff are drawn from experienced call handlers within the University, and have been given additional training on Covid-19 scenarios along with confidentiality and data protection.

Any issues will be escalated rapidly, added to the database of likely inquiries and passed on to the appropriate internal service where necessary.

All inquiry standard responses are vetted by our internal Health & Safety colleagues to ensure that we are supporting our University community in the best possible way.
