The Covid Health Helpdesk
University’s Covid Health Helpdesk is here to support colleagues and students
who have questions about what they should do if they or someone they live with
has coronavirus symptoms, and to direct them to our current advice.
can contact the helpdesk via firstname.lastname@example.org or
on 0131 455 2600 between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
helpdesk can take inquiries from a range of sources, including students, their parents and University staff.
can advise on the first steps you need to take if you have symptoms, can give the
right advice for you as a staff member or student in the University, and are
able to direct you to the people in the university who can help if you need
helpdesk staff are drawn from experienced call handlers within the University,
and have been given additional training on Covid-19 scenarios along with
confidentiality and data protection.
issues will be escalated rapidly, added to the database of likely inquiries and
passed on to the appropriate internal service where necessary.
inquiry standard responses are vetted by our internal Health & Safety
colleagues to ensure that we are supporting our University community in the
best possible way.
