Above & Beyond Awards - March 2017
Massive congratulations to Information Services Central Support Assistant James Mann who was named as the winner of the Edinburgh Napier Red Box Award at the Above & Beyond employee awards evening in March.
James has consistently created wonderful publications in not only print but adorning the digital signage screens across the University. His unique skill for producing creative communications has resulted in his innovative videos being used both within the University and at external events. His assistance out of hours to lecturers in both SACI and SEBE truly make his contribution Above & Beyond! Well done James – a worthy winner!
The Red Box Award was designed to recognise an individual who consistently demonstrates that they are going Above and Beyond by demonstrating one or more of the following:
- Overall contribution to their department or school
- Generating great ideas which have made a difference within their own area and/or to the University
- Going out of their way to help colleagues
- Contributing to their local community
